CLASSES DESCRIPTION
Gentle & Flow Yoga: 60 minutes. Great for beginners and the experienced. Get a great stretch and feel relaxed after your practice. Gentle Sun Salutation synchronized with your breath.
Junzi: Please join us for a brand new signature yoga class open to all, but developed specifically to tone a fellow’s body, mind and soul. tight shoulders, misalignment of the spine, short tendons, stress - all issues that commonly plague men.
Chakras Yoga: 60 minutes All levels. Help the body to heal and restore itself with this gentle practice. Each class focuses on one of the seven chakras (energy centers) of the body with the goal of balance, health and well being for mind, body and soul.
Yoga Basics: For beginner, 60 minutes. This class will prepare you to do all of our other classes. You will take time to work on the details of poses and you will learn traditional yoga sequences. Open to everyone!
Meditative Flow: Gentle classes for all levels. A new theme is explored each week to connect our daily lives with our deepest inner selves. Come have fun with us.
Body & Soul: 60 minutes. A unique class that is designed to unite body and mind.The poses can be hold for a longer period of a time in this class. Meditation and relaxation.
Intermediate and Rise & Flow Yoga: 60 minutes. Poses and flow vary each class. Great for the experienced.
Form & Flow: This anusara inspired class focuses on key aspects of alignment and mechanics of yoga postures. It also incorporates flow (vinyasa) which uses synchronized breath to link poses so that the student enhances both flexibility and strengh. Students are encouraged to work deeply and inwardly, listening to the messages of their own body.
Hatha Series. HS: 75 minutes. Heated room. A set series of breathing, sun salutations, hatha poses, core builders, relaxation and meditation. Faster paced style of yoga. Can be vigorous and challenging. Athletic style of yoga. You want to get back in shape? Lose weight and get stronger? Come to this class! Not for beginners.
Hatha Series Revamp. HS: 75 minutes. Heated room. A set series of breathing, sun salutations, hatha poses, core builders, relaxation and meditation. Faster paced style of yoga. Can be vigorous and challenging. Athletic style of yoga. You want to get back in shape? Lose weight and get stronger? Come to this class! We have revamped our HS for 2010 :-)
Power Yoga: 60 minutes. Heated room. Faster pace of yoga. Poses and flow vary every week. Work on sun salutations, arm balances and inversions. Faster flow synchronized with your breath
Vinyasa: In our flow "vinyasa" classes we will instruct you to move from one pose to the next on an inhale or an exhale. This technique is sometimes also called Vinyasa Flow, or just Flow because of the smooth way that the poses run together and become like a dance. Great for all!
